Re: Assign User Group to mChat Room

@ mortalites Adding this feature into Rooms is possible but quite a lot of work. An easier solution that we could set up much quicker is to manually add code to your Room's listener file that adds a user to a lock private room of your choice when he is added to a certain group. This won't affect use...

Re: Prune Users

If I've set 1 year it doesn't have to check it every hour, right? Yes, it does. If you set the option to 1 year, and only check once a year for expired users, a user might be deleted only after 2 years of his last activity: at 2pm today you check for expired users. A user has been inactive for 1 ye...

Re: Need Mod functions before create a post

I guess you're already using this extension to change the post time in the MCP? https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/exte ... post_time/

Re: Need Mod functions before create a post

Hi Jan

I think there's no way around an extension for this. Changing post time is not even a moderator feature in default phpBB, but as far as I can see, passing a custom time to the INSERT INTO phpbb_posts query can be done in the core.modify_submit_post_data event.

Re: Is there an HTML code i can use to show mChat in sidebar?

I think you already found the code you need to add to your board. :)

If your sidebar is only displayed on the front page (like a portal), make sure you don't add the PHP code to a file that is included on every request or you'll be wasting server resources. Pick the most specific .php file.

Re: Prune Users

Good catch, Jan! @ivailo, you are missing the unit, it should be something like 5 hours, 5 days, 5 weeks etc.

Re: mChat and post errors

I got your PM and now I understand what the problem is: you're displaying mChat on every page of your board, including the posting page. In Firefox, when clicking on a smiley for a post, it is added to the mChat input field. In Chrome it is the opposite: when clicking on a smiley for mChat, it is ad...
