Re: [1.0.1] mChat Broadcast

I am finding that sounds play fine for me... But other chatters it is all over the place. Some hear the most recent sound over and over even if the sound was played long before the entered chat. Other users are not hearing the sounds unless they are played. Another issue is that they are all using d...

Re: [1.0.1] mChat Broadcast

I can't reproduce it in Firefox Desktop, all sounds play fine and only when they are supposed to. Let me ask the other chat user and get back to you on that. I was u...

So here is what I have found after some testing... Everything works from my point on the desktop. When I click the sound, it plays just the way I want. But things are different for other chatters. When another user enters the chat. They hear the most recent sound played, even if I have not played th...

Making it a donors-only extension wouldn't scare you away, would it?

Re: A sound button?

Adding multiple sounds doesn't make it any more difficult. I'm thinking of adding a new setting to mChat's global settings page in the ACP where you set up the URLs for the sound file. Is that what you had in mind too? Exactly! You could have an "add an audio button" of some sorts. Be able to label...

Re: A sound button?

I have the most recent version... Adding a new permission is not a big deal. I just do not want just anyone in chat to be able to "ring the bell" so to speak. If this sound button was allowed by only certain group members, that would work best. I am not scared aware from a Donors only type of extens...
