Good idea! I think the new navbar menu is the perfect place for such an option. I'll look into it. :+1:

Looking at the mchat here i agree if fade ext installed add an user option to the mchat quicklink :+1: nice to be able to change settings with out leaving the page :)

This has now been added as an experimental feature here on this board. It will be available as soon as mChat 2.1.0-RC1 goes public.

The latest version 1.0.6 is now finally available. :+1: It adds a toggle button in mChat's navbar menu. See first post for download.

Oh, I just noticed this, when fade out is enabled, the option in the link shows: Fade out messages, but it should say: Don’t fade out messages

So the language text should be changed to:

- This code is only accessible to donors -
And maybe also replace the icon:

Thanks Solidjeuh, this is fixed in version 1.0.8, now available in the first post and installed here on this board. :+1:

I changed the texts so that they reflect the current state of the fade-out, rather than what happens when you click the navbar item. I also updated the FontAwesome icons to something more plausible.
