Fix is here https://github.com/phpbb/phpbb/pull/5864/files but it looks like it was already fixed in 3.3.1. :?

thanks .... this line was already fixed

nevertheless the error remains

Without making a backup of 3.2.0 it works perfectly. After updating the database to 3.3.1 this error occurs

What result do you get when running this SQL query?

Code: Select all

SELECT *
FROM phpbb_migrations
WHERE migration_name LIKE '%forums_legend_limit%'

MySQL returned an empty result (i.e. null records)

After Cache Clean , no Changes

It means you're missing a migration from the update to 3.3.1. Run the database update again.

phpbb 3.3.1. fresh installed

if I add the database entry phpbb_config to the forum, then it is not possible to log in.

I have copied all entries from the database at the menu item Backup , except phpbb_config , the error message remains

I don't know what that means and how it's related to the missing display_subforum_limit column in your phpbb_forums table.

Anyway, the install/update didn't complete successfully. If it's a fresh install, delete the board and install it again. :+1:

I think I know why the error appears.

in phpbb 3.2.

in phpbb 3.3.

it seems that PHP 3.3 does not know the circled area when it gets the entry from the phpbb 3.2 database backup the information

Problem solved.

Cause was an intermediate update from 3.2.0 to 3.2.10. Version 3.2.0 was too old, so to speak ... no idea.

with 3.2.10 the blue circled area in the screenshot above is no longer there.

from 3.2.10 to 3.3.1 it works smoothly.

All changes in the Acp after the update work perfectly in 3.3.1.

Bye Jan
