mChat in Topics & Forums
This mChat addon extension displays mChat when viewing forums and topics. It adds two new UCP options so that users can decide if and where they want mChat to be displayed. It integrates with mChat's existing UCP permissions.
You can test this extension by enabling it
in the mChat settings in your UCP .

Updated to version 1.0.1
There were some config values missing in the phpbb_config table.
See first post for the latest download. The usual update procedure applies.

Have problems with it. I can't send messages to the subjects, gives "error submission form". Other modifications or special styles not (disabled). You can check it out here:

The same error happened with the Sticky Footer add-on. Read the grey text in this post:
viewtopic.php?p=4#p4
Unless you're willing to modify core code, it can't be fixed until phpBB 3.1.11 is released unfortunately.

I fixed functioons.php, cleared the cache but the error persists. Well, I'll wait for 3.11, thanks for the reply!

Hang on, there seems to be another issue. Your mChat is missing all language. Can you enable mChat on the index page? Does it work there?

Updated to version 1.0.2
If you use phpBB 3.1.10 or earlier, you should apply this fix to make the add-on work on pages with other forms:

I wasn't aware of that, thanks for reporting the bug. There is version 1.1.0 available now, see first post for the download. The extension now works with phpBB 3.2.
Note that when enabling the extension, you might see a message saying a migration name was fixed. If that's the case, simply go back to your list of extensions and enable the mChat in Forums & Topics extension again.
