With regular, open rooms it should work the same way: if you haven't joined the room (it doesn't display a red bubble when new messages are posted in it), you shouldn't be able to read this room's archived messages. The room is still listed in the dropdown menu on the archive page, but you can't select it. If you can, please report back as it would be a major bug. :o

So will that be a notification to a room user that a post has been posted?

Hello All,

Just thought I better request another mod at the Kasimi house,

for chatrooms coloured chat message divider bars,

so each room can have a selected colour to tell which one we are in visually,

as typing speeds interfere with looking around for which page we are on ( I have a few chats opened at once, he he  )

p.s. with the notification of a chat posted in another chatroom,

I do see the red round button show up with a number in it of the amount of chats,

but have sometimes not see an update notification.

I'm afraid I don't understand. This sounds like a regular post notification to me.

A text color for all messages in a room would break the [color] BBCode when it's used in mChat. At the moment I can't think of an easy solution. :|

What do you mean by update notification?

was just an idea, where a user of the chatroom got notified

NAPWR wrote:so each room can have a selected colour to tell which one we are in visually

was just to somehow, show a difference in rooms so we know visually

sometimes the notification shows a new post has happened in another chatroom

But what I have noticed, is that when we have two chatrooms opened at once,

they work together well, as can hear and see notifications.
