Btw Kasimi, I'm currently using MCHATHOVERICONS_1.0.1.ZIP from martin, but since he seems to ignored me, I was thinking if you could do an upgrade on his code, or have something similar here.
Because what I want to acheive is to have the mchat hover icon effect on Desktop + those your icons menu working on mobile (without the hover effect)
So if you could add that feature it would be great.
Thanks again for all!

Hello terry2,
This board is not supposed to be a competition between his board and kasimi's board. Both can coexist peacefully!
Right now, kasimi is doing all the work on mChat - without mentioning his excellent and very useful extensions. Maybe one day Martin will wake up and get involved again.
Take care!
Henry
Well, he may be away, but the fact remains that he rarely answers his messages - if at all (whether he is away or not). I'm still waiting for him to modify the flag extension to show my country as "Colombia" and not as "Columbia".Did you not read in his mchat he is away ?

I do see the who is where ext and i also use that and country names are not defined so to correct that problem your need to contact geoip and get then to fix it my who is where shows countries like this
Code: Select all
$geostream = $filestream['geoplugin_countryName'];

Re: mChat Icons Menu
To be honest Martin, I prefer the icons ext from kasimi. I don't like at all the green button. Its a matter of (good
) taste. That's all. I hate green buttons, and the look and feel of the 3 vertical dots its kinda more professional look, at least for me.
And I already said what I was trying to acheive. So there isn't yet any extension that does what I want, and I really think is a great feature to add since it will bring a lot of more power to the extension. The admin will have more options. The ability of choosing the hover effect on Desktop/Mobile and the same for the icons menu. That way each one of us (forum admins) can configure as we really want.
And I'm with Darloup, this is not a dev competition, there is space for all of us. Be happy, after all, we are all here for the same. Make users happy.
Best Regards
