Huh, thanks, but it still wont work as it should. It seems it overload insert_text function too late (when all libraries loaded) because on page load "B", "I" and other buttons on quickreply form not working and overloaded insert_text function not called at all (i have added console.log() to debug), but if i click "smile" button - the overloaded function start working without problems.
For me i solved the issue buy moving your code directly into editor.js, but that's ugly.
Any ideas?

It works fine for me on prosilver. What style are you using?
I don't think it's a timing issue. After the page has fully loaded, enter this in your browser's console:
Now click on a smiley or a BBCode button. You should see an alert, and whatever you clicked shouldn't be added to the editor.

Solved. I guess some layer adjustment on one and height adjustment on the other. Not the most appealing look, but will work.

The color palette is still broken. Maybe you know a solution?
@kasimi...
I Created a new file and folder at
ext/dmzx/mchat/styles/all/template/event/overall_footer_body_after.html
and add this code:
Code: Select all
- This code is only accessible to donors -
ext/dmzx/mchat/styles/prosilver/template/event/overall_footer_body_after.html
?I had no event folder at
ext/dmzx/mchat/styles/all/template/event/overall_footer_body_after.html
Edit...
yep, that was it... I created
ext/dmzx/mchat/styles/prosilver/template/event/overall_footer_body_after.html
and that fixed issueEdit on the edit....

Re: [1.4.0] mChat Sticky Footer
Hello there, thank you for all your hard work. I do appreciate it
I may have messed something up because I don't really know what I am doing.
I added mChat sticky footer and it works perfectly on the Elegance styles with the collapsible categories built in, but not correctly on Prosilver or any other style.
I did make the changes here to get the ability to collapse the categories in two templates. https://github.com/kasimi/mChat/pull/32/files
I have double checked to be sure I did it correctly, and I do have the + - on the footer, but when I open it, sometimes it opens and sometimes it makes a tiny window as shown in the photo attached. When I go to close it, it just shows a blank space unless I refresh the page, as shown in second photo.
Thank you in advance for any insight you may have to help me get this sorted.

This sounds like an issue with the new Collapsible Categories version. Can you test with version 1.x? I'll into finding a temporary solution as soon as I have some spare time.
