Convert phpBB Calendar 0.1.1 (alightner) to 3.2

Hi,

Can and will somebody help me with the convertation of the old 3.0.x mod phpBB Calendar 0.1.1 (alightner)?

I did use this mod on my old 3.0.14 forum.. but we build a new one on 3.2.8
The users and i where very happy with this mod, and we like to use this again on 3.2.8
We've tried a few other calendar extensions, but unfortunatly no one can do what we want.

Unfortunately the download in the topic you linked is not available anymore. It would be helpful to see the MOD's code to get a better idea how much time and effort is required to convert it to an extension.

By help me do you mean you've already started converting it? Are you looking for help by volunteers who are also interested in using the MOD/extension?

I second the request -- I've been searching for a few months for a good phpbb Calendar extension (running a board with 3.2.8 at the moment). I have a background in webdesign and very light PHP and SQL knowledge but no way can I take on a rewrite like this. I will happily be a diligent and thorough tester and may be able to get together a monetary donation from my board users. Anyone willing to help with this, let me know what kind of bounty would make this interesting for you to take on =)

I've had a quick look at he attached MOD files in #3. It has well over 7000 lines of PHP code and about 1200 lines of HTML/template code. Converting such a beast of a MOD to an extension and whipping it into shape would take some serious effort and certainly cost mid triple digits. Feel free to get in touch if you desperately need this very MOD converted, otherwise you should check out the links Tigers posted for some promising alternatives.
